How does Jan-Willem work?

Jan-Willem is an approachable lawyer who likes to think along with the client about a practical solution. His enthusiasm for the law ensures an efficient and focused case approach in which the client's interests come first.

Jan-Willem: "In my daily practice I mainly deal with commercial contracts, such as purchase, sales and delivery agreements, general terms and conditions, distribution and agency agreements. My practice has a major focus on franchise agreements and everything that comes with them. Examples include drafting, amending and assessing franchise agreements, advising on the Franchise Act, faulty forecasts, (post)contractual non-competition clauses, termination of cooperation, et cetera. In addition, conflict management is an integral part of my daily practice, which does not shy away from going to court or arbitration on behalf of the client if necessary. I do all this for franchisees, franchisee associations as well as (national and international) franchisors. With some regularity, I publish articles and blogs and also provide courses, webinars and podcasts."
